The program for the FCCN 2026 Conference is now available.

The full program for the FCCN 2026 Conference has been released, reaffirming this event as the leading national meeting dedicated to advanced digital infrastructures and services for Higher Education and Research. From May 5th to 7th, at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto, this Conference will bring together hundreds of professionals from the fields of Science and Technology.

Over three days, experts, researchers, institutional decision-makers, and technology managers will participate in thematic sessions, workshops, project presentations, and technological demonstrations that highlight the work developed by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), through FCCN, in supporting the Portuguese scientific and academic ecosystem. The 2026 edition is structured around five central areas — Computing, Collaboration, Connectivity, Knowledge, and Security — with Artificial Intelligence once again playing a prominent role in the program.

Highlight of the day, May 6th: the session PTCRIS

The second day of the Conference, Wednesday, May 6th, is marked by the session dedicated to... PTCRIS, um dos momentos mais relevantes para quem trabalha na gestão, integração e interoperabilidade da informação científica em Portugal.

The session brings together experts, information systems managers, library technicians, and research support services to discuss key topics such as:

Integration of scientific information systems
Normalization and data quality
Interoperability between national and international platforms
Evolution of services PTCRIS and upcoming developments
