CIÊNCIAVITAE: new translations of professional careers and academic training

From July 14th, the CIÊNCIAVITAE offers an improved presentation of information in English across functional areas Affiliation, Education and Activities.

Until now, some job titles and academic qualifications remained in their original language when the platform was used in English, due to the lack of official translations published in legal documents. Following feedback received from the user community, unofficial translations have been implemented for these situations, with the aim of providing a more consistent and understandable user experience in an international context.

This improvement will also be available in the functional areas Education (Level: Portugal) and Activities (Course/Discipline taught).

The update will be applied gradually to profiles. For the platform to recognize the access and perform the update, users must log in to the account CIÊNCIAVITAE and make any changes to the resume.

This improvement reinforces the commitment of CIÊNCIAVITAE focuses on the quality, interoperability, and internationalization of curricular information for the scientific community.
