{"id":1613,"date":"2024-09-04T17:28:22","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T17:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test.ptcris.pt\/?p=1613"},"modified":"2024-11-25T11:41:27","modified_gmt":"2024-11-25T11:41:27","slug":"nova-funcionalidade-do-cienciavitae-alivia-carga-burocratica-sobre-os-investigadores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ptcris.pt\/en\/nova-funcionalidade-do-cienciavitae-alivia-carga-burocratica-sobre-os-investigadores\/","title":{"rendered":"New CI\u00caNCIAVITAE feature eases bureaucratic burden on researchers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since its launch in November 2023, the \u201cSuggestions\u201d feature of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/cienciavitae.pt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CI\u00caNCIAVITAE<\/a>, the FCT&#039;s digital service, developed through the FCCN, has already enabled the simpler and faster addition of 143,000 records relating to scientific productions and projects. <\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>7,150 hours of work and 100,000 euros have already been saved<\/h2>\n<p><strong>This advancement resulted in an estimated saving of 7,150 working hours \/ 100,000 euros*<\/strong>, representing a significant step in simplifying curriculum management for the scientific community.<\/p>\n<p>Aligned with the basic principle of PTCRIS, <strong>\u201cRegister once, reuse multiple\u201d<\/strong>, the \u201cSuggestions\u201d functionality was designed to alleviate the bureaucratic burden placed on researchers, <strong>facilitating the automatic completion of resumes. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This innovation works by suggesting information based on data already available on the platform. <strong>CI\u00caNCIA<\/strong>VITAE. By automating this process, the tool not only <strong>saves time, as well as improving the accuracy and consistency of records on the platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1615 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/test.ptcris.pt\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Exemplo-curriculo-cienciavitae-fccn.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"965\" height=\"911\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ptcris.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Exemplo-curriculo-cienciavitae-fccn.png 965w, https:\/\/ptcris.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Exemplo-curriculo-cienciavitae-fccn-300x283.png 300w, https:\/\/ptcris.pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Exemplo-curriculo-cienciavitae-fccn-768x725.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 965px) 100vw, 965px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to making the scientific information management process more efficient, the functionality reflects the commitment of <strong>CI\u00caNCIA<\/strong>VITAE in supporting the scientific community.<\/p>\n<p>With this and other innovations, the platform allows <strong>researchers focus more of their efforts on their core activities, such as research and development, contributing decisively to the advancement of science in Portugal. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>THE <strong>CI\u00caNCIA<\/strong>VITAE will continue to evolve with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cienciavitae.pt\/noticias\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">future updates<\/a>, in order to further expand the positive impact of this functionality on the management of scientific information.<\/p>\n<p>*The estimated savings in time and money were calculated based on three factors: the average time to manually enter a record into the platform is 3 minutes; researchers dedicate an average of 1,820 hours per year to their scientific activities; and the average annual salary of a researcher is 29,000 euros, according to the European Commission&#039;s &quot;Study of the Remuneration of Researchers in the Public and Private Sectors.&quot;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Desde o seu lan\u00e7amento em novembro de 2023, a funcionalidade \u201cSugest\u00f5es\u201d do CI\u00caNCIAVITAE, servi\u00e7o digital da FCT, desenvolvido atrav\u00e9s da FCCN, j\u00e1 permitiu a adi\u00e7\u00e3o mais simples e r\u00e1pida de 143 mil registos, relativos a produ\u00e7\u00f5es cient\u00edficas e a projetos.
