One of the international references adopted by PTCRIS is the CASRAI Interoperability Dictionary. <\/p>\n<p>CASRAI (Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information) has established open and standardized definitions that have been maintained in an open-access dictionary for use in the exchange of scientific information. In this system, everyone working in the academic-scientific system has a CI\u00caNCIA ID and an ORCID.<\/p>\n<p>ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) is an interdisciplinary organization focused on developing an open registry of unique identifiers for researchers and academics and automating the links between them and their information, particularly scientific output and projects. FCT, through PTCRIS, has been an associate member of ORCID since 2015. <\/p>\n<p>CI\u00caNCIA ID is a permanent, individual identification and authentication tool for citizens engaged in scientific activity within the national science system.
